D-Train 2018
Registration Is Now Open!

Our annual District Training Conference will be held on January 5-7, 2018, in beautiful San Diego, CA. The festivities will take place at the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley, which is close to many of San Diego's well-known attractions.

Come see old friends, celebrate the exceptional achievements of some of our members, and learn what's new in one of the many workshops that will be held on Saturday. The theme of this year's Friday night Fun Night is "Team Spirit." Don the jersey of your favorite sports team and let new rivalries begin! You also won't want to miss the new Fun Night talent competition: "Auxiliary's Got Talent."

To register, just click below to bring up the registration pages and check out through PayPal or credit card. This "all in one" registration is quite different from what you have seen in prior years. If you prefer to pay by check, just click the print button for a summary and mail it together with your check to the address identified on the summary. Come help make this year's D-Train the best ever!

Online registration is now closed, however, you are welcome to register at the event in person.

D-Train Volunteers Needed!

Volunteers are needed to assist in the set-up and running of our 2018 D-Train event. We need help moving and setting up the Material Center Store, the reception desk, and audio visual equipment. We will also need help during the conference with staffing the Material Center Store, and with security. If you are available to assist please contact:

US Coast Guard Launches New Online Newsroom

WASHINGTON - The Coast Guard is scheduled to launch its new, online digital newsroom, http://www.news.uscg.mil, Thursday afternoon. The mobile-friendly content management system replaces the service's previous news site, www.uscgnews.com, and offers an email subscription service that delivers both regional and national Coast Guard news.

Users can subscribe to the news delivery service. This new capability will allow users to manage their Coast Guard news preferences through the service's subscription preferences page.

Users currently receiving Coast Guard news via uscgnews.com will continue to receive news releases via email; however, users can opt-out of the emails by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any Coast Guard email sent from the new system.

Coast Guard Launches App for Safer Boating - Download It Free

As the nation's recreational boating safety coordinator, the Coast Guard's mission is to minimize loss of life, personal injury, property damage, and environmental harm. Their boating safety program involves public education programs, regulation of boat design and construction, approval of boating safety equipment, and vessel safety checks for compliance with federal and state safety requirements. The Coast Guard Mobile App supports these missions by providing the essential services and information most commonly requested by boaters.

Who We Are

Since 1939, the men and women of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary have volunteered millions of hours in support of the U.S. Coast Guard and the recreational boating public.
We are the uniformed civilian volunteer arm of the Coast Guard.

Our Missions

Recreational Boating Safety - consisting of our many boating safety classes, distributing boating safety information to the public, providing free vessel safety checks, and doing safety patrols on land, water and in the air.
Support of Maritime Homeland Security and other maritime safety challenges that have emerged in recent years.
